Spring Race Readiness Program

Designed For Boise Runners Training For A Spring Race

Here's Everything Included in the

Spring Race Readiness Program

Specific. Progressive. Built around your race.

  • Race Readiness Assessment

We evaluate your body against the specific demands of your race — not generic screening. We're identifying where the weak links are and what's going to break down first if we don't address it.

  • RunEasi AI Gait Analysis

AI-powered video analysis that shows exactly where your mechanics fall apart under load. Most runners look fine when fresh. We want to see what happens when you're tired — because that's when injuries happen.

  • Progressive Strength Training (In the Clinic)

The part most runners skip. Heavy squats, deadlifts, plyometrics — with proper coaching. Real strength capacity that prepares your body for what's coming, not bodyweight stuff you could find on YouTube.

  • Training Plan Review

We look at your plan and flag the danger zones before they become problems. Is the mileage ramp too aggressive? Are you set up to peak at the right time — or burn out three weeks before race day?

  • Fueling, Sleep & Recovery Guidance

You can't out-train bad nutrition or poor sleep. We make sure you're not quietly sabotaging your training between sessions.

  • Post-Race Recovery Session
After you crush your race, we help you recover properly so you're not limping around for two weeks wondering what's next.

Why Fit & Function?

Dr. Maria Leibler, PT, DPT, MTC

Dr. Ben Hoskyn, PT, DPT

When Maria and Ben aren't treating runners, they're out on the trails themselves. Running isn't just what they treat — it's what they love. And that passion shapes everything about how they work.

Fit & Function is Boise's only physical therapy clinic built exclusively for runners. Maria and Ben work with runners all day, every day — it's not a specialty they dabble in, it's the only thing they do.

Over the years, they've become the go-to resource for Boise's running community, working with everyone from brand new runners to seasoned marathoners (and even Olympians) who need someone who truly understands what they're going through.

That focus adds up. They've seen nearly every running injury, every training mistake, every pattern that leads to a runner breaking down mid-season. Nothing gets missed — and every plan they build is crafted specifically for the runner in front of them.

If you want someone who gets running — not just as a clinician, but as a fellow runner — you're in the right place.
